Astra Logistics celebrates new facility
Astra Logistics hosted an open house / dedication ceremony for their new facility in Greer, South Carolina. The new facility is where they assemble the tire and wheels for BMW’s new F25 which is the next generation model of the BMW Sports Activity Series X3. Astra put together a first-class ceremony with Tom Przybojewski (Astra President) leading the way and with the Governor of South Carolina Mark Sanford and other state and local dignitaries in attendance. ITC reduces average truck turn-around time 50%
ITC is one of India's foremost private sector companies. ITC has a diversified presence in Cigarettes, Hotels, Paperboards & Specialty Papers, Packaging, Agri-Business, Packaged Foods & Confectionery, Information Technology, Branded Apparel, Personal Care, Stationery, Safety Matches and other consumer goods products. ASAP Automation India installed a conveyor system with powered and non powered conveyors for truck loading at ITC Coimbatore. ITC has been very pleased with the performance of the entire system which has helped them increase productivity and volumes. The average truck turn-around time has been reduced by 50% and ergonomics for operators has improved drastically.

Future Supply Chain Solutions live with put to light system
Future Supply Chain Solutions (FSCS) is one of the seven verticals of Future Group and is the first end-to-end Consumer Logistics Company in India. FSCS was born from the need to have specialized end-to-end (E2E) Supply Chain solutions for the Consumption products. Over the years, FSCS has developed competencies in managing the various operations that constitute the Supply Chains across categories of Fashion, Food, Home and General Merchandise. As of today, FSCS services over 2614 retail outlets spread out in 75+ cities across 25 distinct retail formats and manages more than 2.6 million SKUs. These product categories require 30 distinct supply chains to be managed simultaneously, each with its own distinct requirements that need customized solutions. They recently went live in both their Kalyan facilities with the Exacta Warehouse Control Software and put to light technology and will Go-Live at additional 3 locations Hasangarh (Delhi), Barasat (Kolkata) and Bengaluru (Bangalore) by the end of July. This is the first put to light technology implementation in India.
Hercules Sealing Products increased productivity and improves accuracy
Hercules Sealing Products is a distributor of hydraulic and pneumatic seals, seal kits and cylinders for all heavy equipment brands. Hercules recently went live with the Exacta Warehouse Management Software and Exacta Warehouse Control Software (container routing, carousel and event director modules) in their Clearwater, FL distribution center. Hercules is already seeing increases in productivity and improved accuracy and has requested additional functionality from ASAP for the next phase of the project.
Phillips Van-Heusen (formerly Superba) decreases labor required
ASAP recently worked with Phillips Van-Heusen (PVH) in California. PVH provides customers with neckwear including brands such as Izod, Bugatti, and Calvin Klein. The system implemented included the Exacta Warehouse Control Software with container routing, weight check and print and apply. The new system helped free up floor space and decrease the labor required.
