Hal's career in logistics started in 1985 when he joined the US Air Force where he had the opportunity to travel the globe and acquire a broad range of logistics and operational experiences. In late 1992, Hal left the active duty component, but remained in the Air Force serving part-time as a reservist assigned to HQ US Air Force at the Pentagon. At the same time, Hal joined a transportation systems development firm where he project managed and delivered logistic system and business solutions to end users across the US. Hal then advanced his career with a major 3PL company as well as with a large WMS vendor. In 2004, Hal joined management team in ASAP Automation as the VP of Operations.
When Hal is not at work, he enjoys motorcycling, woodworking, hunting, fishing, and flying.
