Chauhan joined ASAP Automation India in early 2003 to promote Business Development in Asia Pacific region. Prior to joining ASAP he was working as Director Indian Operations for Miebach Logistics and heading the Competence Center Engineering & IT. He specializes in Supply Chain Analysis, Design of Complex Logistics Networks, Design of Warehouses, Warehouse Management Systems, Automation Systems, Project Planning / Management, Cost Optimization & Change Management. Chauhan has around 13 years of experience in India and Overseas.
Chauhan has been a speaker at Confederation of Indian Industry, Indian Institute of Materials Management, IIM (Bangalore), Symbiosis Institute of Management, SCM (Mumbai), Association of Specialized Logistics (ASL India), SCALE, RV College of Engineering etc. He has published various articles in leading Indian magazines.
Chauhan enjoys working in a small entrepreneurial growing business and loves the consultative selling process. He has high interest in Industrial Automation and Supply Chain Logistics. He has been instrumental in building a team and capturing new business. He is liked and respected by his fellow employees. A constant innovator, he is finding new ways to expand business and his most proud moment was when ASAP India officially became HYTROL Distributor. Chauhan loves reading and passing on excellent management articles to the management team.
Chauhan & Seema reside in Bangalore, India. They have a beautiful daughter Anushka. She is 4 ½ years old and loves to play with Bill II whenever he is in India. Their most memorable events in ASAP were the interactions with colleagues from US and rides in the adventure park “Kentucky’s Six Flag”. Chauhan enjoys listening to Indian music, watching movies, traveling, sea beaches and investing time with his daughter. Chauhan’s concept of a romantic evening is Candle Light Dinner along with Champagne by the sea side.
