International Program Manager

Mike’s interest in streamlined operations and automated products within an entrepreneurial culture drew him to ASAP Automation.  He enjoys hands-on problem solving with both internal and external customers alike, and the satisfaction of guiding projects to improve a customer’s competitive advantage.

Mike studied Systems Engineering at the U. S. Naval Academy where his academic lab work included programming computer chips, designing feedback loops and controlling a 5 axis robot arm.  Upon graduation and completing nuclear power and submarine systems training, Mike headed to Pearl Harbor for his assignment aboard the USS SANTA FE (SSN-763).  He later served at Port Canaveral in Cape Canaveral, FL where his primary function was to provide excellent customer service to visiting vessels.  Upon completing his Naval service, Mike built on his engineering management skills and followed his entrepreneurial desire in becoming the Program Manager at the biotech company Agave BioSystems.  Seeking a stronger business background, Mike then attended Emory University to earn an MBA, and during the program interned with the Risk Management Program with GE Money.

Mike is originally from Seattle, though he is has also resided in more sunny parts of the globe including several years in both Egypt and El Salvador.  Mike seeks adventure in his activities ranging from mountain biking, motorcycling, hiking, and traveling.  Mike resides in Bangalore, India.
